We’re trying to be most effective with our communicating via text message, but our biggest hassle is adding students to our texting list. We currently use Simplytxt, but to manually add each student and also to have to know their cell phone provider is a huge hassle. What tips do you have for compiling the names onto your text messaging platform?
Great helps on communication. I am trying to basically have “layers” of communication, kind of like a nice chocolate cake. When I use twitter, facebook, newsletter, email with the same info it helps hit all areas of communication. I also use the simply text program as well and it works great.
Does anyone have a monthly newsletter through download and print anymore?

I have my first-ever newsletter, too, Kurt. Cut & paste goofy clip-art and ‘font changes’ by using different type-writer wheels….
My students (and especially parents) still love getting a hard-copy newsletter….
